Friends of the Library
This commemorative book is dedicated to the memory and efforts of deceased past presidents
and board members who were instrumental in the growth of the WSSU Friends of the Library. It
is through the time, talents, and connections that so many people shared that the organization has
been able to survive and prosper for 25 years. Each person contributed special talents and different
personalities, but the one thing they all shared was the love of libraries and specifically the C. G.
O’Kelly Library at Winston-Salem State University.
